Who may commission

The public consultation service is for clients aged 18 or older. Private World Studio does not knowingly accept commissions from minors.

Age standard for nude or erotic work

Private World Studio may consider artistic nudity and erotic or sexually suggestive material, but only where every human or humanoid subject is at least 21 years old and is clearly represented as an adult. For an original fictional human or humanoid identity used in sensitive work, the studio assigns and records a canonical age of at least 25. The studio may refuse a request whenever adult age or adult appearance is ambiguous, regardless of the age stated in the brief.

Private World Studio does not accept pornographic or sexually explicit commissions, sexualised depictions of minors, or sexualised animal content.

Your own likeness

A real personal likeness submitted through the public commission process must be the client’s own. Do not submit an identifiable third party through the public consultation form. At launch, Private World Studio does not accept nude, erotic or sexually suggestive commissions using the likeness of a partner, former partner, celebrity, creator, colleague, acquaintance or any other identifiable third party, even where the paying client states that consent exists.

For nude, erotic or sexually suggestive work using a real likeness, the depicted client must be at least 21 years old and may be asked to complete additional age and identity checks before production begins.

Fictional character declaration

A character described as fictional must be an original fictional identity and must not be intentionally based on, designed to reproduce, or used as a substitute for an identifiable real person. For a sensitive commission, the fictional identity must be original to the commission or a studio-owned original that the studio has separately approved for reuse; Private World Studio does not operate a public catalogue of intimate characters. The character must be established and recorded as 25+ before intimate work proceeds. Incidental resemblance can occur in generated work and is not treated as intentional likeness by itself.

No circumvention

The rules apply to the substance of a request, not the label used by the client. Private World Studio may treat a supposedly fictional request as a real-person likeness request when photographs, biographical details, distinctive physical features, tattoos, profession, location, voice, repeated corrections or other information reasonably indicate an identifiable person.

Attempts to reconstruct a person gradually, split identifying information across messages, or otherwise bypass the Content & Likeness Policy may result in immediate refusal or termination.

Consent, impersonation and harm

We do not create deceptive impersonations, non-consensual intimate or sexualised likenesses, material intended to mislead others about a real event, or work intended to facilitate fraud, harassment, coercion, defamation or abuse.

References and client rights

The client is responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary for photographs, videos, music, text, logos, artwork, characters, voices or other material supplied to the studio. Private World Studio may request evidence, refuse material, or pause a commission where ownership, age, identity or consent is unclear.

Client declaration

Before a consultation request is transmitted, the client must confirm the accuracy of the brief, the required rights and permissions, and compliance with this policy. Sensitive-content requests require an additional declaration covering the 21+ rule, the 25+ fictional-character standard, clearly adult appearance, self-likeness and the prohibition on third-party sexualisation.

The studio records a minimal compliance record linked to the submission reference, including the declaration status and the policy versions accepted.

Age assurance and self-likeness verification

A declaration in the consultation form is a screening step, not a substitute for age assurance where a stronger check is required. Before sensitive production or access to material that is subject to age-restriction obligations, Private World Studio may require a third-party age-assurance check. The studio's minimum standard for nude, erotic or sexually suggestive human or humanoid work is 21+; original fictional human or humanoid identities in sensitive work are assigned a canonical age of at least 25.

Where a sensitive commission uses the client's own likeness, the verification process may also require a live selfie or equivalent liveness check to establish that the verified adult is the person whose likeness is being supplied. Private World Studio aims to receive only the minimum verification result and reference needed for compliance, rather than a copy of the client's identity document. Identity documents must not be uploaded through the public consultation form.

If age, adult appearance, identity or self-likeness cannot be verified to the studio's reasonable satisfaction, the commission may be paused or declined.

Private delivery of age-restricted material

Private World Studio does not use nude or intimate client material as a public portfolio by default. If commissioned material is subject to age-restriction obligations in a relevant jurisdiction, access or delivery may be limited to the verified client through an appropriate private delivery method and any required age-assurance control.

A client's right to receive commissioned work does not authorise publication, sharing or use that would breach applicable law, platform rules, the rights of another person or the written proposal.

False information and prohibited requests

False or misleading information about age, consent, identity, likeness, ownership, permissions or the intended subject of a commission, and deliberate attempts to circumvent this policy, may constitute a material breach of the commission terms.

Private World Studio may refuse, pause or terminate the commission and will have no obligation to complete or deliver prohibited work. Amounts attributable to work already performed, resources committed and non-recoverable costs may be retained as permitted by the written proposal and applicable law. This does not remove any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Animals and remembrance

Animal-centred commissions are limited to companionship, adventure, imagination or respectful remembrance. A memory may inspire a mood, place or moment; reproducing an identifiable real person requires a separate rights and consent assessment.

Concerns about a likeness

If you believe a Private World Studio commission unlawfully depicts or imitates you, use the Safety & Removal process or contact hello@privateworldstudio.com. A credible complaint may trigger an immediate temporary hold on relevant delivery, publication or further production while the matter is reviewed.
