When to use this process
Use this process if you believe a Private World Studio project or PWS-controlled publication depicts, imitates or identifies you without valid consent; includes intimate material that should not be used or shared; infringes your rights; or otherwise creates a serious safety or legality concern.
How to make a request
Email hello@privateworldstudio.com with the subject Safety & Removal. Include the project reference or URL if known, explain the concern and describe your relationship to the person or material involved. Do not send intimate media or identity documents unless the studio specifically asks for information that is necessary to assess the request.
Immediate hold for credible intimate-likeness concerns
Where a credible complaint concerns a potentially non-consensual intimate likeness, Private World Studio may immediately pause relevant production, delivery or any PWS-controlled publication while the matter is assessed. Confirmed illegal or prohibited material will not be delivered or kept publicly available by the studio.
Review target
The studio aims to acknowledge a safety or removal request within one business day and, where reasonably possible, resolve or provide a substantive update within five business days. Urgent situations involving immediate risk, a minor or suspected unlawful intimate material are prioritised. A person who disagrees with the outcome may ask for one further internal review.
What may happen next
Depending on the issue, the studio may request limited additional information, suspend a commission, remove PWS-controlled material, terminate a project, preserve a minimal evidence record, notify a payment processor or service provider, or make a report where required by law. The studio will aim to minimise the personal information used in this process.
Australian image-based abuse
In Australia, intimate images can include real or digitally altered material. If you are affected by image-based abuse, information and reporting options are available from the eSafety Commissioner at esafety.gov.au/key-topics/image-based-abuse.
Privacy
Safety and removal requests are handled under the Privacy Policy. Information is used only as reasonably necessary to assess the issue, communicate with relevant parties, protect rights and safety, meet legal obligations and maintain a minimal record of the outcome.
